More about the role.

The aim of the Event Coordinator is to support the wider event management and events team. Based both in the office and on site during events.

Like all roles at Kilimanjaro Live you can expect your time at work to be fun, varied and challenging. We don’t like to stick to a firm job description as we know from experience that things change throughout the lifetime of a role, and it gives our people the chance to play to their strengths.

How you will make an impact.

  • Assist in the successful delivery of major events.
  • Coordinate logistical plans for on-site teams including staffing schedules, travel plans and accommodation.
  • Research and arrange procurement of services.
  • Assist with purchase order system and budget management.
  • Work on a variety of diverse projects.
  • Deal with correspondence quickly and efficiently.
  • Maintain a friendly and professional manner with all internal and external contacts to create useful working relationships.
  • Undertake any other relevant duties or reasonable request as requested by the event management team.

  • Have previous experience in events and event planning.
  • Have exceptional organisational and administrative skills.
  • Be comfortable travelling and working away from home for extended periods.
  • Have the confidence to adapt to working alongside artists, contractors, venues. Local councils etc.
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrable experience supporting events team in fast paced environment.
  • Knowledge of live music and events industry would be advantageous
  • Excellent IT skills with proven experience with Microsoft Office, Word and Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.

The job is a full-time job based in London with hybrid – as well as working on site during events.

Preliminary interview via Teams

Successful candidates will be asked to attend a second in person interview at Kilimanjaro Live’s office with the company Head of Events.
