Role: Manager, Touring (12 month contract)
Salary: £40,000-45,000 a year, pro rata, plus benefits

Are you ready for an exciting opportunity in the world of live music? Our AEG Presents Touring team is looking for a Manager on a one-year fixed term contract.

You’ll manage all aspects of tour administration including tour budgeting & reporting.  You’ll also be responsible for financial modeling, routing tours, coordinating with internal departments and external parties, supporting tour accounts & finance on the final show reconciliation; and you’ll also manage our tour coordinators in the UK touring team. 

You will:

  • Work with promoters to build costing for tours and individual shows within the in-house event budget software and ensure all events and tours are up to date during all stages. 
  • Work with Senior management & promoters on UK tour modelling including requesting venue availability and budgets for routing of tours per the direction of Senior Management. 
  • Collate venue availability and routing tours and managing pencil holds as per the direction of promoters or senior management.
  • Review Artist contracts & rider requirements, effect on the budget and raise any management concerns regarding this.  
  • Review & return venue contracts, noting effects on budget and any considerations the Artist or production rep should be made aware of. 
  • Working with the Production department, ensure the Promoter Handbook is kept up to date and all Show reps comply with our standards. 
  • To assist tour accounts with the necessary information to create touring packs, and on occasions act as tour accountant. 
  • Work with Finance to ensure the completed shows are correctly reported within different systems, as well as approve final supplier invoices and update settlements where necessary.

We’re looking for someone with substantial experience within the Music/Events industry within Touring. You’ll have experience of planning tours, budgeting for them and creating reports. You’ll be a whizz with Excel and have strong financial skills.

You’ll have previous experience of managing and motivating teams, providing positive and constructive feedback with the ability to influence your team members in an effective and positive manner.

You’ll have the ability to delegate tasks to grow and develop your team; demonstrate ability to solve more complex problems with confidence; and lead your team by building a culture of collaboration.

You’ll build strong relationships with both internal departments and external parties and proactively engage in continuous learning and encourage your team to do so as well.
