Deki Alem make music that’s built to unnerve and energise in equal measure. The Swedish twin duo layer breakbeats with clipped vocals and a punk-informed clarity that cuts through the noise.

Their new single ‘Fun’ nods to halcyon rave culture, with twisted breakbeats emerging from the shadowy vocal delivery; urgent, propulsive and delivered with that Prodigy-eqsue edge.

Born out of fragmented lyrics about society’s modern-day fascination with speed and the constant urge for stimulation, ‘Fun’ was created as a kind of ironic surrender anthem - embracing compulsive and indulgent patterns.

In their own words, it’s “an ode to giving in rather than enduring the tedious work of resistance, allowing yourself to simply swallow the pill”.
